**Position objective**:
Responsible for the management of regional projects for corporate and/or strategic business units. Provides support through the planning and execution of these projects. Support may include establishing deadlines, assigning resources/responsibilities, on-site execution, and monitoring and summarizing the progress of projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding the status of the project. Familiar with the concepts, practices, technology, and business insights of the Wire & Cable Industry (W&C).
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in materials sciences, metallurgy, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields. A Master's degree in management or engineering or material sciences is expected.
- 5+ years' project management or job-related experience in a large-scale corporation.
- PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in the Wire & Cable Industry is a must. Attitude to deeply understand the scope and technical aspects of the project together with traditional PM skills.
- Strong general understanding of a wide range of technical concepts (W&C Industry) sufficient to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical experts in different fields including maintenance, finance, construction, engineering, R&D, etc.
- Experience in wire and cable materials design, compounding, and qualification testing preferred.
- Experience with software packages including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MATLAB, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Project.
- Knowhow on automotive core tools (e.g. APQP, PPAP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically with demonstrated capacity to anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Good cross-cultural and multi-parties communications skills.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct, control, and monitor project activities.
- Fluent in English (95%).

**Main Responsibilities**:
- Manages large-scale, complex technical projects and programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
- Creates and manages project documentation, including project charters with clear deliverables, requirements, and project plans.
- Meets with business process owners and key stakeholders to identify the project's goals, objectives, critical success factors, and success measures.
- Communicates project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders and the leadership team, facilitating decision-making and issue resolution as needed.
- Review and interpret both international and domestic product standards, specifications, and cable drawings.
- Evaluate new equipment installs and make recommendations to improve performance.
- Guide and provide technical direction to Purchasing, Sales, Quality, and Manufacturing in equipment design and selection, specification interpretation, and performance compliance.
- Subject matter expert providing technical direction during the engineering quote request and product design management (PDM) processes confirming manufacturing capabilities, bills of materials, compliance, and formulating technical exceptions and clarifications for engineered-to-order requests including necessary details and BOM.
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope, including meeting facilitation and documentation.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by the team before passing them to project team members.
- Prepares for project reviews and quality assurance procedures.
- Minimizes our exposure and risk on the project, appropriately raising awareness on at-risk items.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news that may impact project scope.
- Provides status reporting to stakeholders on a regular basis. Apprises management of issues requiring resolution in order to maintain progress on a timely basis.
