Led by our talented teams around the world, Cubic is committed to solving global issues through innovation and service to our customers and partners.Job Details:Job Summary: Responsible for the health and safety of employees in an industrial or manufacturing environment, providing medical care on work-related injuries and illnesses and helping implement various strategies to prevent accidents.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide immediate medical attention and first aid to employees who are injured or become ill at work.- Conduct medical assessments and examinations to identify potential health risks and hazards in the workplace.- Collaborate with HSE and HR departments to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and standards.- Offer employees health education on topics such as injury prevention, proper ergonomics, and personal protective equipment.- Conduct regular workplace inspections with the Joint Health and Safety Committee to identify potential health and safety risks and recommend corrective measures.- Create and maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all employees and ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.- Maintain a record of those who are provided care and follow-up of certain employees with chronic illnesses to ensure their well-being in the workplace.- Provide guidance and support to injured or ill employees throughout the return to work process.- Plan and execute health campaigns for employees.- Manage the medicine cabinet inventory and nursing supplies for medical care due to injury or illness.- Conduct periodic inspections of the cafeteria.- Assists in compliance with STPS procedures and other local, state or federal regulatory laws.- Prepare and manage the documentation provided by the IMSS when an occupational injury or illness occurs.- Contributes to maintaining a safe work environment, supporting the company's safety programs.Minimum Job Requirements:- Technical or Professional Nursing Career.- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Industrial Nurse.- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products.- Proactive attitude.- Organized and Good housekeeping skills.- The description provided above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities, and requirements.
