Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Occupational Health Doctor.
**What you'll do**:
**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:
Implement and sustain our Site's Occupational Health Management System, aligned to Eaton's MESH System and compliant with applicable regulations, as well as international standards such as ISO 45001.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:
A. Coordinates support to operations with 3rd party medical service
B. Lead the treatment of employees when injuries and illnesses may happen
C. Administrate and respond communications with IMSS in coordination with EHS Site's Manager
D. Engages employees through Wellness and Preventive Health Programs
E. Implements Incident Medical Management and Emergency Response Plans for occupational injuries and illnesses
F. Leads Ergonomics Site Program and committee
G. Keeps updated Industrial Hygiene Exposure Assessments and Controls
H. Assures compliance with SSA, STPS, IMSS and other applicable regulations for Occupational Health
I. Conducts Health Risk Assessments and maintains our Occupational Health Program
J. Improves on leading and lagging metrics and targets, by setting Strategic Projects
K. Participates in the Development, implementation and follow up of action planning and strategic EHS Planning.
L. Promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation.
**Qualifications**:
A. University degree required, with qualification in Medicine, postgraduate on Occupational Health, industrial hygiene. Relevant advanced degree preferred professional certification preferred (Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Hazardous Materials, or country equivalent).
B. English - language capability, speaking, reading & writing required
C. 3 years' experience with an emphasis in administration of similar programs
D. Comprehension of Eaton, industry, state, and country environmental, health, and safety requirements.
E. High level of interpersonal skill to work effectively with others
F. Strong leadership skills, must be capable of leading their organization on a continuous journey of sustained improvement, including ability to manage large number of disparate projects and to track projects through completion.
G. Knowledge of manufacturing processes
H. Ability to lead and support cross-functional process improvement team
I. Ergonomic knowledge.
