Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking an Occupational Health Doctor.What you'll do:PRIMARY FUNCTION: Implement and sustain our Site's Occupational Health Management System, aligned to Eaton's MESH System and compliant with applicable regulations, as well as international standards such as ISO 45001.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Coordinates support to operations with 3rd party medical serviceLead the treatment of employees when injuries and illnesses may happenAdministrate and respond communications with IMSS in coordination with EHS Site's ManagerEngages employees through Wellness and Preventive Health ProgramsImplements Incident Medical Management and Emergency Response Plans for occupational injuries and illnessesLeads Ergonomics Site Program and committeeKeeps updated Industrial Hygiene Exposure Assessments and ControlsAssures compliance with SSA, STPS, IMSS and other applicable regulations for Occupational HealthConducts Health Risk Assessments and maintains our Occupational Health ProgramImproves on leading and lagging metrics and targets, by setting Strategic ProjectsParticipates in the Development, implementation and follow up of action planning and strategic EHS PlanningPromotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigationQualifications:University degree required, with qualification in Medicine, postgraduate on Occupational Health, industrial hygiene. Relevant advanced degree preferred professional certification preferred (Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Hazardous Materials, or country equivalent).English – language capability, speaking, reading & writing required3 years' experience with an emphasis in administration of similar programsComprehension of Eaton, industry, state, and country environmental, health, and safety requirements.High level of interpersonal skill to work effectively with othersStrong leadership skills, must be capable of leading their organization on a continuous journey of sustained improvement, including ability to manage large number of disparate projects and to track projects through completion.Knowledge of manufacturing processesAbility to lead and support cross-functional process improvement teamErgonomic knowledge.Legal compliance (Federal, State, Municipal)We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
