Job description

GOALS and OBJECTIVES:

- Plan and coordinate marketing plans, brand creative, integrated marketing, public relations, content management and results reporting.
- Collaborate with ESET sales team and managed partners to increase sales through development of strategic marketing plans. Plans to include but are not limited to, direct marketing, awareness, partner events, promotions and follow-up on all activities to optimize conversion rates and performance of overall channel marketing investment.
- Build upon best in class channel management processes including the MDF program, and overall metrics to measure overall channel marketing program success.

This individual maintains strong relationships with counterparts within each of the Managed Partner Accounts, as well as intradepartmental collaboration to ensure optimal support of complete marketing strategy and plan for ESET Canada.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create marketing plans for all relevant channels to map out a growth strategy and solid commitment to support forecasted sales;
- Collaborate with the partner team in developing marketing plans which allow managed partners to build and support their distribution channels;
- Support team members in growing the distribution and reseller channel;
- Assist in driving awareness of the brand, encouraging growth of the partner channel, and maintaining relationships with existing partners;
- Develop marketing materials;
- Coordinate various activities: marketing seminars, training events, reimbursements, etc. that enhances brand awareness and generate leads;
- Assist in channel and consumer recruitment, communications, and community building activities (online and event-based strategies);
- Manage all public relations activities including managing agency and influencer relationship and collaborating and reporting to NORAM and global PR team;
- Negotiate new media, public relations and influencer contracts including local memberships to target community groups;
- Collaborate with NORAM and global content management team and distribute, localize and utilize relevant content for Canada;
- Proactively partner with researchers and WeLiveSecurity team in promoting content generated by ESET;
- Work with digital marketing team on delivering corporate and brand specific messaging;
- Align, manage and monitor brand activities in all communications vehicles including PR, Social and traditional marketing;
- Manage brand promotional campaign assets, and work with partner marketing to execute on reseller campaigns;
- Track event expenses through a specified budget, including budget-to-actual performance;
- Alongside Partner Marketing Manager and global branding team, manage local booth assets including updating creative and new purchases as needed;
- Define and maintain brand program, brand campaign, and brand event reporting and KPI tracking on activities;
- Analyze reports and build regular scorecards providing analysis to track sales and marketing data
- Track and maintain record of invoices, budgets, and purchase orders;
- Coordinates local community and B2B events including project plan, booth assets, event execution/attendance, integrated marketing, results reporting
- Travel as needed and attend all local events and multiple national events for effective show participation.
- Become the brand ambassador for all brand related activities

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and QUALIFICATIONS:

- University degree in Business discipline or equivalent
- Knowledgeable of the general marketing procedures and best practices
- 3-5 years experience in marketing and events or transferable skills
- Skilled at project management of multiple, concurrent activities to ensure completion within target dates, managing shifting priorities
- Proven ability to define a Channel marketing strategy, then lead implementation of tactics and programs.
- Proven ability to create innovative and comprehensive programs and campaigns for a reseller channel of distribution.
- Able to demonstrate consistent ability to meet objectives on time and within budget.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.
- Strong presentation skills, statistical and mathematics knowledge
- Proven capacity to excel in a fast-paced, multifaceted, team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and problem solving abilities.
- Capacity to genuinely think "outside the box" and motivate others to take well-reasoned risks.
- Able to work well independently and in a team environment, and interact with individuals at all levels in the organization.
- Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills; detail-oriented. Highly motivated and self-starter.
- Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally up to 25%.
- Oversight of press releases, media alerts and executive briefings.
