The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of MERN / MEAN stack technologies and a passion for learning and growth.This role is perfect for someone eager to contribute to projects and expand their technical expertise in a collaborative environment. This is a hybrid role that requires 2 days per week in our Mexico City office.Please submit CVs in English.Key Responsibilities :Assist in developing software solutions that support Oliver Wyman's strategic objectives.Collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality code and actively participate in code reviews.Learn and apply best practices for secure, scalable, and maintainable code.Engage in the full software development lifecycle under the guidance of senior team members.Key Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. A portfolio of completed projects can be considered an alternative to formal education.Up to 2 years of experience in software development with exposure to MERN / MEAN Stack technologies.Technical Skills :Strong understanding and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript and frameworks like Node.Js, React, Express.Js, and Angular.Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.Basic practical knowledge of version control systems like GitHub.Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools.Leadership and Communication :Ability to take and apply direction and feedback from senior team members.Willingness to contribute ideas, share knowledge, and participate in team discussions.Developing the ability to articulate technical issues and solutions to peers.Contribute to software engineering best practices, knowledge sharing, and standards development.Skills and Attributes :English fluency (spoken & written) required.Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to collaborate with others.Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects with guidance.A proactive approach to continuous learning and skill development.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.We are committed to embracing a diverse, inclusive and flexible work environment
