Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Learning Technology Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automating manual processes and be proficient in coding languages such as Python, JavaScript, SQL, as well as Business Intelligence (BI) software. This role is pivotal in enhancing our learning and development initiatives by leveraging technology to streamline processes and deliver data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities: Automation of Manual Processes: Design, develop, and implement automated solutions to replace manual processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.Coding and Development: Utilize Python, JavaScript, SQL and other coding languages to create, maintain, and optimize scripts and applications that support learning tools and technologies.Business Intelligence: Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software to provide actionable insights and support better resource allocation.Data Management: Ensure data integrity and accuracy by developing robust data management practices and protocols.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and Learning & Development, to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions that improve efficiencies within our learning team and across the organization.Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on new technologies and automated processes, enhancing customer service and engagement.Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in learning technologies and automation software/tools, and proactively suggest improvements to increase and optimize workflows and efficiencies.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of automating processes and developing BI solutions.Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, SQL.Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.Strong understanding of data management and data integrity principles.Skills & Attributes: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.Growth mindset focused on continuous improvement of skills.Marsh & McLennan Companies is a global professional services firm providing advice and solutions in the areas of risk, strategy and human capital.
