SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring that machine rejects are kept to a minimum

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure machine rejects are kept to a minimum.
- Assist and instruct machine operators in real-time utilization of machine reject/scrap/bulk components.
- Coordinate between Line and Process Engineering to ensure all machines are on a one-time recovery.
- Assist in root cause analysis of machine rejects.
- Set up appropriate storage system to be utilized until all machines and feeders are operating efficiently (mínimal generation of scrap).
- Instruct all line personnel in the value of proper scrap management.
- Work with all line personnel showing how to properly re-tape bulk/reject material that it is used real-time on a daily basis.
- Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; and two years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
