Objective Drive the organization towards a sustainable lean culture, being recognized as the face of Lean because walks and talks as one. Execute and inspire others to think on finding better ways of work. The individual in this role will establish and ensure world class process standards across the operational landscape and drive problem resolution around instances that are not aligned with established standards. Collaborate with business unit leads, functional heads, and global experts to influence and effect continuous improvement and process standards. The OpEx Manager will.. Drives Strategies and tactics for Lean Culture. Administrate and lead the continuous improvement initiatives such as 3i, kaizen, hoshin kanri, SPS@PL. Works closely to managers to help to include strategies that foster the continuous improvement of their areas. Defines and monitors appropriate KPIs and improvement targets together with management and functions, and even corporate deployment of KPI's. Work closely with the plant manager and management team to coordinate and execute the strategical plan of the location. Lead strategies towards a lean culture. Living and promoting improvement ideas and becoming a role model to inspire people. Sets up, coordinates, and ensures implementation of comprehensive business improvement programs in line with corporate business excellence strategy and targets for the assigned organizational unit. Monitoring savings, assigning projects to lean experts or 6sigma certified collaborators to use the tools. Requirements Bachelor's in engineering such as Industrial, Process, Mechatronic, Mechanical or Electrical 10+ years of experience implementing lean techniques. At least 3 years of experience in a management role Ability of influencing peers and others to achieve impact on results in larger organizations. Individual in role must be capable of changing existing ways and approaches where necessary and act as an innovative idea generator for new and practical solutions. Desirable Lean certification such as Senior Expert and/or & sigma black belt Good communications skills Well established in external and internal networks within field of expertise Proactively shares knowledge in a systematic way in larger organization to grow-know-how base and supports a learning organization.
