.Job DescriptionKey responsibilities:- Champions Lean-Six Sigma.- Act as a key coaching resource to the site leadership team to embed methods and behaviors to drive performance improvement and to supervise progress against key Operational Excellence metrics.- Lead the development and implementation of an effective Tiered Management System to standardize operational leading and lagging critical indicators and accountability cadence.- Drive process improvements for all value streams and support processes. Partner with site leadership (e. g. Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and IT) and partners to establish and achieve objectives. Develop impactful, capable teams that achieve sustained performance improvement.- Plan and execute Change Enabling Disciplines training strategies: Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management, Project Management, etc.- Lead the productivity and continuous improvement project backlog (Waste Elimination Pipeline).- Support the Business Continuity Planning process by deploying change enabling tools to improve its efficacy.- Ensure the use of standardized structured problem-solving tools to resolve complex and pernicious problems.- Supervises the Tijuana Operational Excellence central office and Project management.- Ensure the efficacy and standardization of resources and services provided by the Industrial Engineering function.- Engage in digital initiatives, to help bringing business and technology together to deliver more value to our customers.Qualifications:Essential- Bachelor's in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.- 7+ years Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement experience with 5+ years managing teams within manufacturing environments.- Proven 3 -5 years' experience as manager- Six Sigma Black Belt Training and/or certification from a recognized program.- Proven experience leading the development and implementation of Operational Excellence strategies for the manufacturing site(s).- Proven experience implementing Change Enabling Disciplines, such as: Lean, Change Management & Project Management.- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization with process change agent mentality.- Working knowledge of statistical process control concepts, data analysis and visualization, diagnostic tools, and techniques.- Demonstrated ability to identify, oversee, and lead multiple projects that achieve larger objectives.- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.- Effective internal consulting skills.- Fully Bilingual (Spanish/English).Desirable- Experience in data analytics, data automation and digitalization.- Demonstrated ability in leading manufacturing operations or engineering.- Working knowledge of supply chain processes.- Demonstrated experience in facilitating teams and groups in lean, six sigma and process improvements
