General Summary of the Position. The Operational Procurement Specialist is a member of the procurement team for After Market, responsible for delivering excellent customer service through demand processing and issuance of different types of purchase orders to meet our end customer delivery date requirements, securing impeccable execution of purchases and high vendor delivery performance. The OPS is responsible for identifying cost effective pricing discrepancies, quality requirements, on time deliveries, payment terms and conditions alligned. This position is responsible for effectively managing procurement demand assigned by utilizing historical pricing and acquired quotation pricing, negotiated and provided by the Strategic Procurement Group.

Ability to anylize and prioritize execution on procurement transactions to meet customer demands
Ability to manage supplier performances, including on time delivery and the ability to drive improved supplier deliveries.
Ability to bring financial awareness, in relation to pricing, and total cost of ownership
Ability to identify issues/concerns independently throughout purchase order execution
Ability to provide alternative solutions during procurement execution.
Ability to provide and manage, in an organizational and timely manner, progress status to Product Lines orders, throughout procurement execution

Job Duties and Responsibilities.
Timely creation of purchase orders for EP Product Line Orders.
Ensuring receipt of purchase orders delivery date acknowledgments on a timely manner and in accordance to pricing and delivery conditions.
Manage the progress and timely delivery of purchase orders.
Understanding and negotiating of scheduling priorities and delivery improvement requirements with vendors, based on customer needs.
Review, clarify and release vendor's invoices discrepancies received through Basware
Timely review and respond to the internal communication requests received through the OM Ticketing Tool
Coordinate timely the Direct Shipment orders in close collaboration with the various Logistics teams.
Responsibible to manage and interact with the different tools and dashboards that are essential to perform the role succesfully.
Responsible to maintain cost and lead time data in SAP in colaboration with Sourcing/Tactical accordingly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business or Operational-Procurement education or 5+ years' experience in a procurement role.
Strong process understanding on logistics and related supply chain activities.
Ability to work in a very fast pace environment.
Deadline driven.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excelent Customer Services Skills
Excellent Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Experience preferable in SAP/MM environment
Desirable technical knowledge and interpretation of drawings
Familiarity with ISO Quality System elements
Experience with products in Metso's offering is a plus.
