.Overview:As a member of the International Operations Operational Risk Management team within the GM Financial's Global Compliance and Privacy organization, you will facilitate the team's risk analytics and reporting activities. This will include the preparation of management reporting, risk metrics, risk quantification, department technology platform support.You will assist with analysis of Operational Risk data from various sources to support periodic and ad-hoc reporting to drive continuous improvement to GMF IO's Operational Risk Management Framework. You will also collaborate with other departments across the Organization to identify, analyze, and respond to key risk indicators that enable the proactive management of Operational Risk.**Location**: Monterrey, MX**Responsibilities**:- Reporting and Analytics- Maintain and prepare periodic Operational Risk management reports including qualitative and quantitative analysis on trends, patterns, or themes in data.- Ensure timely approval and publication of Operational Risk management reports according to department standards and procedures.- Assist with program follow up activities to ensure accurate and consistent data for Operational Risk reporting.- Respond to ad-hoc Operational Risk analytics and reporting requests from other departments across GMF.- Maintain procedures and work instructions for reporting activities to ensure reliable execution of the reporting calendar.- Quantification- Partner with Operational Risk senior management to implement enhanced risk quantification methods.- Partner with Country Operational Risk teams to monitor and evaluate and calculation procedures for operational risk capital inputs where required by international regulation.- Risk Indicators and Metrics- Partner with GMF Business Units and Country Operational Risk teams to design, analyze, and report on key risk, control, and performance indicators.- Analyze metric performance and trends and recommend modifications to indicator rating rules to management based on monitoring performance.- Escalate exceptions to indicator rating rules according to departmental policies and procedures and ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve these cases.- Data Management and Technology- Partner with Operational Risk team members and stakeholders to clean, upload, and update data elements in the Operational Risk management technology platform- Assist with provisioning and troubleshooting as neededQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business / finance, operations management, or related field required.- 2+ years relevant Financial Services or related experience
