This role involves managing vendor relationships, coordinating installations at remote sites, and maintaining licenses and systems. The Associate Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager to streamline processes and contribute to the success of high-volume projects.Role and Responsibilities· Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and sales representatives.· Obtain quotes efficiently, expediting procurement when necessary.· Manage the purchase, tracking, and installation of hardware and software across various locations.· Oversee license renewals for hundreds of devices, ensuring continuous compliance.· Coordinate with owners, on-site technicians, and internal engineers to facilitate product installations at remote sites.· Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and closing projects on time and within budget.· Identify gaps in current processes and collaborate with the Project Manager to develop innovative solutions.· Oversee the creation, deployment, and continuous updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs).· Support the upkeep and success of existing systems and tools.Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, or 2 years of experience in project coordination, procurement, or a related area.· Familiarity with project management tools such as Trello and Zendesk.· Experience managing remote installations or working with distributed teams is preferred.· PMP or CAPM certification preferred.· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.· Confidence and a cordial demeanor for interfacing with external clients.· Proficiency with Trello, Zendesk, and Excel.· Strong writing skills for composing clear and concise emails that encourage straightforward responses.· Ability to explain technical information in simple terms for non-technical audiences.· Experience managing complex, high-volume projects with multiple tasks and deadlines.· Detail-oriented with proven experience in organization and project management
