Operations Director - Electrification

The Department Director is responsible for overall management direction for the assigned department.General ResponsibilitiesCreate an annual business plan that provides a unit operational budget that supports the revenue and profitability goals of the Company.Directs team and overall business operations in assigned divisions to achieve company goals.Directs and assigns resources, workloads and manages schedules to ensure timely deliverables.Oversees employee recruitment and performance evaluation activities of staff.Drives positive relationships with the staff and customer base.Develops department's annual budget.Evaluates department performance and develops new strategies for performance improvements.Resolve business issues and ensure that all escalated issues are closed.Develop and enforce best practices to ensure operational efficiency.Identify areas of improvements and concerns and accordingly develop action plans.Experience / QualificationsA university degree required (i.E. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members.Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.#J-18808-Ljbffr
