**Role Overview**:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring that components are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role requires a focus on safety, quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to meet production schedules and financial goals.
- Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
- Ensure a safe working environment through the implementation and maintenance of safety standards and regulations.
- Implement and sustain continuous improvement processes focused on reducing variability and improving quality.
- Lead, coach, and develop the plant staff, fostering a team-oriented, high-performance culture.
- Set performance goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Identify, recommend, and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory and ensure timely delivery of components.

**Critical Competencies for Success**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and solve complex problems.
- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing in English is required.
