We seek an experienced Operations Manager for processing and local supply chain operations; s/he will propose, monitor, and improve processes from procurement to processing to distribution and export.
**Responsibilities**- Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.- Coach, council, and discipline employees- Analyse and optimise operational procedures at the plant- Oversee supply chain operations related to local logistics of procurement and sales- Ensure that operations are as streamlined, efficient, and cost-effective as possible- Define objectives and establish strategic goals for the team to execute- Promptly address and resolve issues- Share feedback and reviews of vendors, and negotiate contracts- Organise and manage inventory, storage, and transportation- Review, prepare, and route purchase orders- Ensure safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments- Monitor costs, timelines, and efficiency- Ensure operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and other requirements**Requirements**:- 5+ Years Experience in Operations Management- English fluency, and good verbal and written communication skills- Knowledge of agriculture trading business preferred (budgeting, negotiating, general contract and subcontract documentation)- Knowledge of Project, Operational Management (Agile, PMP, Sigma Certifications preferred)- Working knowledge of legal regulationsWe are a fast-paced Agrifood start-up with an explicit focus in dry food commodity procurement, processing, and sales.- If interested, you are also invited to contact +1 778 551 2322 via WhatsApp_**Salary**: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- Sin., Mexico: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: One location
