.Our client is a multinational global leader in the automotive industry, with a strong brand reputation in the worldwide market. In order to sustain their business growth in Mexico, we are looking for the Operations Manager role for their team in Puebla.**OPERATIONS MANAGER****REPORTS TO**:General Manager, North America**JOB PURPOSE**:Define the cost estimate and the delivery time of the products of the business line of competence, coordinating the activities related to the production processes and ensuring the alignment of operations with corporate strategy.**MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES**:- Manages the execution of activities related to cost and delivery time estimates, design, testing, installation, and final testing of products, guaranteeing and certifying compliance with all the regulations applicable to those products.- Defines, communicates, and guarantees the efficient and effective execution of the production plan by coordinating all human and technological resources.- Controls and manages the indirect costs associated with the departments of its competence, preparing the budget to be discussed with BU Director.- Ensures the alignment of capacity with the business strategy by also proposing the necessary investments.- Elaborate the production plan of all the relevant product lines, communicating it to the different department involved.- Coordinates design and production activities, setting targets for efficiency and quality, monitoring these targets, and activating all corrective measures needed.- Transfers the supply requests to the procurement department, in compliance with orders timing and supply lead times.- Manages the warehouse of his own competence, managing loads and unloading activities and always ensuring the alignment between physical and accounting stocks also through inventory verification activities.- Establishes the subcontracting assignments to suppliers approved by the Purchasing department, setting efficiency targets aligned to the order estimate.- Guarantees accurate cost controlling information, making sure that all costs are correctly and promptly recorded in the company system.- Informing the relevant Sales department and involving it, when necessary, is responsible for the design review, for the proper installation at the customer and for the final testing until customer approval and acceptance.- Communicates HR requirements plan to the BU Director and involves HR department for the needed recruiting and hiring processes.- It takes care of new hires onboarding.- Defines employees training needs, establishes objectives, and carries out periodic evaluation sessions in coordination with the HR function.- Promotes and guarantees compliance with work safety regulations
