Overview:
Management of the VPC operational processes in order to obtain the profitability results established by the VPC Management.
Ensure compliance with the operational processes based on the requirements of the Management to obtain the profitability of the operation.
To ensure that the quality and efficiency standards required by the client are met.
**Job Description**:
- Developing long and short-term strategies in support of VPC objectives.
- Ensuring that coordinating and planning activities support VPC objectives.
- Communicating VPC objectives, strategies, and activities to supervisory staff.
- Ensuring that adequate training and tools are provided to supervisory staff.
- Establishing routine management targets for the VPC.
- Identifying and implementing cost reduction activities.
- Implement, manage and support lean waste objectives and projects.
- Evaluates and establishes operating procedures.
- Ensures that established operating procedures are followed for all production operations functions and processes.
- Ensures that VPC efficiency standards are met and/or exceeded while maintaining WW standards of quality. Efficiency standards are established by the Operation Manager and are communicated via Time per Activity (TPA) and Labor Efficiency Goals (PET).
- Ensures that workplace safety standards are met, including the proper storage and handling of hazardous waste materials.
- Ensures that the total quality management principles are executed. This includes but is not limited to Policy Management, Shop Floor Management and Routine Management processes.
- Works cohesively with all members of VPC management.
- Ensures VPC compliance with all WW policies and procedures.
- Advocates the Company Leadership Competencies.
- Maintains confidential information and ensures that company confidentiality policies, as well as applicable state and federal confidentiality laws, are followed.
- Maintains positive relations with customers, vendors, business associates and employees.
- Ensures that supervisory staff is cross-trained in multiple VPC functions and embraces a team-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Performs other related duties, as required.

Job Requirements:
- A good fit for this position has 5-7 years in planning and directing operations, and experience in:
- Inspiring change through communication at all impacted levels
- Understanding revenue drivers and efficiency standards to deliver positive financial results
- Leading continuous process improvements to achieve a safe and cost efficient work environment that meets performance targets
- SOP, MRP, TQM, JIT, Kaizen, 5S, and visual factory management
- Must possess valid driver's license & drive manual and automatic transmissions.
