The position will also contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and practices for the operation, maintenance, and training of personnel under their supervision.
Responsibilities include: Plan, manage, direct, and control the ethylene oxide sterilization process, with strict adherence to the safety and quality standards defined by the company, complying with good manufacturing practices and following regulatory aspects.Direct the development and implementation of activities in the Sterilization area to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.Plan and administer procedures and budgets. Make budgetary recommendations and at higher levels, control capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.Responsible for providing training for members of the team, monitoring the quantity and quality of the work in progress, coaching employees on performance, and contributing to employee pay decisions or changes.It will be required to work in hazardous areas and pass the initial and subsequent medical surveillance and require wearing respiratory protection (SCBA).What you need Technical or Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience.+4 years' experience in Manufacturing Operations in a highly FDA regulated industry.Experience leading teams.Knowledge of Warehouse Operations.Knowledge of ISO 13485 and 11135 desirable.Ethylene Oxide Sterilization knowledge desirable.Advanced English & Spanish.Experience in SAP desirable.Knowledge of OHSAS Safety Standards.
