Managers who carefully oversee people, processes, and deliverables to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.What you will doThis role will support Stryker operational excellence strategies by ensuring the proper functioning of the equipment and proper planning of production processes, as well as compliance with its quality system.The position will also contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and practices for the operation, maintenance, and training of personnel under their supervision.Responsibilities include:Plan, manage, direct, and control the ethylene oxide sterilization process, with strict adherence to the safety and quality standards defined by the company, complying with good manufacturing practices and following regulatory aspects.Direct the development and implementation of activities in the Sterilization area to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.Plan and administer procedures and budgets. Make budgetary recommendations and at higher levels, control capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.Provide training for members of the team, monitor the quantity and quality of the work in progress, coach employees on performance, and contribute to employee pay decisions or changes.Work in hazardous areas and pass the initial and subsequent medical surveillance and require wearing respiratory protection (SCBA).What you needTechnical or Bachelor's Degree.4 years' experience in Manufacturing Operations in a highly FDA regulated industry.Experience leading teams.Knowledge of Warehouse Operations.Knowledge of ISO 13485 and 11135 desirable.Ethylene Oxide Sterilization knowledge desirable.Advanced English & Spanish.Experience in SAP desirable.Knowledge of OHSAS Safety Standards.Travel Percentage : 10%#J-18808-Ljbffr
