The position will also contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, policies and practices for the operation, maintenance, and training of personnel under their supervision.Responsibilities includes:Plan, manage, direct, and control the ethylene oxide sterilization process, with strict adherence to the safety and quality standards defined by the company, complying with good manufacturing practices and following regulatory aspects.Directs the development and implementation of activities in Sterilization area to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations and at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.Responsible for providing training for members of the team, monitoring the quantity and quality of the work in progress, coaching employees on performance and contributing to employee pay decisions or changes.It will be required to work in hazardous areas and pass the initial and subsequent medical surveillance and require wearing respiratory protection (SCBA).What you needTechnical or Bachelor's Degree.+4 years' experience of Manufacturing Operations in a highly FDA regulated industry.Experience leading teams.Knowledge of Warehouse Operations.Knowledge of ISO 13.485 and 11.135 desirable.Ethylene Oxide Sterilization knowledge desirable.Advanced English & Spanish.Experience in SAP desirable.Knowledge of OHSAS Safety Standards.#J-18808-Ljbffr
