Operations & Supply Chain Director

Morgan Philips Executive Search is looking for a Operations & Supply Chain Director based in Lerma, Estado de Mexico for a Pharmaceutical company.The main objective of this position is the overall responsibility for the management of all activities in the client manufacturing plant, in particular all manufacturing, quality, supply chain, maintenance and engineering, ensuring compliance with the client philosophy and Leadership Principles.Develop and meet plant objectives according to the objectives of the Mexican organization and those of the Tech Ops and provide personnel with the appropriate tools, systems and training to perform their work effectively.Compliance with the Investment Expenditure budget.Provide leadership so that the entire manufacturing site is aligned with local and corporate objectives and ensure adequate reporting to the global legal committee.Compliance with regulations related to the environment and safety, following local regulations and global standards. Promote the search for initiatives to save energy and water, ensure a safe environment for all employees.Production is managed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices guidelines for drugs and medical devices both in plant and at contracted factory sites.Participate and contribute as a member of the Tech Ops, establishing and executing the strategies.Identify the risks of the operation and create mitigation plans.**Cost Optimization**: Identify process improvement opportunities to optimize plant activities through continuous improvement tools such as PDCA (Plan Do Control Act), 6 Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, (Productivity and savings without compromising quality).**Requirements**:Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related Technical DisciplineAt least 15 years' experience directly related to the pharmaceutical or chemical industry in areas of supply chain (warehouse and distribution) and packaging.Negotiation skills and relationship management capabilities.Mastery of computer tools.Mastery of English.Verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish).ERP
