Overview
This Help Desk agent is a person who is available to support operations of general problems, capable of giving a low-level diagnosis of issues that may affect the operation and provide a quick picture of the problems.
Must be a person who can troubleshoot and help any employee in technical terms to evaluate the state and availability of the resources and be capable to follow instructions to escalate information to have this solved.
Essential Functions
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Respond to questions either in person or over the phone.
- Write training manuals.
- Train computer users.
- Provide an induction about Information Security
- Maintain daily reports on the performance of computer systems.
- Ask questions to determine the nature of the problem.
- Walk customers through the problem-solving process.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Maintenance of computers including, physical cleanup and changes on software.
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
- Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
- Install computer peripherals for users.
- Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved.
- Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
- Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.

- Provide clear reports of incidents and problems detected.
- Escalate incidents that require more expertise in certain areas link telephony, networking, and/or external resources or services.
Experience
- At least 2 year of experience
- 2 years desirable
- Bilingue
