Field Service Engineering work is focused on providing technical advice to customers including commissioning, installing, and testing of products/equipment including:

- Identifying and correcting more complex problems associated with start-up
- Researching, evaluating, and recommending new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs
- Developing on-going relationships with customers to secure future business
- May resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems and/or train customers on the features of the equipment they have purchased

**Level Description**:
An experienced support level position that requires a basic knowledge of a given job area and tools, typically seen through work experience as well as vocational or technical training.
Works under moderate supervision.
Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation to achieve business results for a given area of a department or function.
