**Job Summary****Key Responsibilities****1.
Design and Development of Automated Optical Inspection Systems**- Design and develop high-precision, high-throughput AOI systems for automated production equipment tailored to optical, optoelectronic, and mechanical assemblies and modules.- Design optical and mechanical components of inspection systems to achieve high precision, throughput, repeatability, and quality.- Develop test methodology and algorithms for defect detection, calibration, positioning, and image quality.- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation, including technical specifications, test reports, and user manuals.- Collaborate with optical, electrical, mechanical, and production teams, including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to ensure smooth implementation of the AOI system into the final products.**2.
Integration and Verification of Inspection and Testing Systems**- Design, develop, and integrate optoelectronic inspection systems into manufacturing processes.- Test and validate inspection systems for their functionality, precision, accuracy, and throughput to meet all requirements and standards.- Troubleshoot and optimize system designs to enhance accuracy, consistency, efficiency, stability, and reliability.**3.
Additional Responsibilities**- Participate in product design reviews and provide insights and recommendations on optical components and AOI systems for integration.
**Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Image Processing, or related fields.
Master's degree preferred.- At least 3 years of experience in opto-mechanical engineering and automated optical inspection or related fields.- Comprehensive knowledge of optics, optoelectronics, optical inspection, machine vision, image processing, and automation technologies for manufacturing equipment.- Expertise in optical system and optical inspection system design.- Ability to design and integrate AOI systems for automated manufacturing equipment.- Proficient in optical design and simulation tools such as Zemax.- Familiar with mechanical design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo
