Purpose of the Job:
To undertake delegated responsibilities from the Installation Supervisor, PrIM for the delivery of site works. The field operation manager takes responsibility for a stage/package/section of installation within the project contracted installation scope. Execution of equipment installation activities in the field and onboard according to project planning and Installation Supervisor orientations and instructions.

Organizational Reporting: Direct reporting: Installation Supervisor / PrIM.
Responsibilities:
The Installation Team Leader or the Installation Technician will assume all worker responsibilities as such:
• Execute specific installation activities according to the design documentation and Installation Supervisor orientation/instruction.
• Comply with EHS procedures and maintain PPE defined by EHS, ensuring collective protections are in place, and alert the supervisor/PrIM whenever any deviation to EHS rules or EHS risk is identified.
• Ensure the right means to perform the installation:
- Tools calibrated
- Understanding of drawings and Method statement
- Right material
- Accurate knowledge/training for performing the work
• Perform activities with quality – No deviation versus drawings and method statement = No punch point.
• Report and alert the hierarchical superior if any risk, difficulties, or issues are identified during the installation activities that may impact safety, quality, and/or performance of the work.
As Team Leader/Capataz, he will also:
• Manage the team for performing a task in a work location: Review up-to-date documentation, verify tools, verify skills and train workers if required, verify availability of material and equipment for the team to perform the tasks required, ensure access is given for performing the work.
• Perform reports as per request to the Installation Supervisor/PrIM: Daily progress report, survey report, anomaly report, EHS report, Preparation of handover report.
Main Required Competences: Educational Requirements:
Mandatory:
• Minimum high school degree, medium technical level in (preferably electronics or electric or electromechanics systems) or equivalent experience of 3 to 5 years in similar functions.
• Highly qualified technician
Desirable:
• Construction Industry (Electrical or Electronic)
• Communication Industry
• Fiber Optic Field
• Technical High-School Diploma
Experience:
Mandatory:
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in Industrial activities related to Electrical, Electronic, Fiber Optic Field within industry.
• Relevant experience on railway site management
• Relevant experience on railway EHS management
• Experience on railway products installation methods
Desirable:
• Familiarity with high-risk activities in association with Electrical work and EHS requirements
• Knowledge of Railway products and services on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, F&M)
• Knowledge of transversal railway construction activities (civil, infrastructure, electric, etc.)

• Good technical level in electrical, electronic, mechanical, and networks domains
