**YOUR TASKS**
A Calculating, correcting optical geometries
1.
Accepting and clarifying tasks set in the form of verbal or written laboratory and development orders,
planning and specifying tasks, taking quality-related, timing and economical aspects into account
2.
Preparing corrections to optical patterns and using suitable systems and methods
3.
Carrying out or arranging extensive photometric investigations, as well as recording and checking the
results, drafting and presenting respective reports
4.
Building up complex trial set-ups, if necessary adapting existing trial and testing equipment
B Optical development for optical components and respective testing systems and methods
1.
Developing optical patterns according to customer requirements, taking design-related basic
parameters into consideration, in cooperation with suppliers as well as internal and external positions
2.
Illustrating problems and suggestions or agreeing alternative solutions with suppliers as well as internal and
external positions
3.
Drawing up test instructions; processing all lighting engineering releases in agreement with the
other positions involved
4.
New development or advanced development of testing modules
5.
Calibrating and checking lens testing equipment
C Other Tasks
1.
Carrying out the planning of schedules and capacities for measuring tracks; optimizing measuring track
procedures in cooperation with the positions involved
2.
Planning, preparing and carrying out training for employees at the measuring tracks
3.
Following up costs and deadlines for the division on the basis of workflows, cost planning etc.
in cooperation
with the positions involved; recording deviations, suggesting improvements and implementing these in
agreement with the superior
4.
Planning and carrying out the quality-related measures necessary, taking existing systems and methods as
well as existing regulations and guidelines into account
**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**
Professional Experience:
Grad.
engineer (technical college) in physical
engineering
Job-related Experience:
- 3 years
Additional Knowledge / Skills / Experience:
Product development lighting technology
CAD/CAM
Measuring and testing technology
Language Skills:
English, good knowledge
