We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a Oracle Database Administrator. Preferred experience: 4+ years of professional experience in Oracle database. Extensive experience in Oracle EBS 12.2.X and Oracle databases 19.X administration including but not limited to patching, cloning, upgrades, installations, and implementations. Good knowledge on supporting Oracle technology in highly available and multiple node configurations. Knowledge in Oracle RAC, Oracle Dataguard, Securing EBS and PKI. Basic understanding of Data Replication, Clustering, High Availability, etc. Participate in the evaluation, selection and implementation of DBA tools to improve the effectiveness of tasks such as performance monitoring and tuning, recovery, and database change management processing. Provide technical expertise and hands-on support in consolidation and migration of databases to new hardware and platforms. Install, configure, monitor, upgrade and maintain MSSQL and PostgreSQL databases in production and non-production environments. Advanced level of English is a must. Why Cognizant?
