We are currently seeking a highly skilled and organized Oracle Technical Analyst to become a valuable addition to one of our US clients. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, solid SQL knowledge, and excellent communication skills. You will work remotely to support front-end and back-end technical investigations, assist clients, and resolve application issues, ensuring consistency and alignment with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities: - Investigate front-end Oracle application issues by capturing information, shadowing end users, and testing workflows.
- Perform back-end tasks including gathering log files, querying tables, updating database fields, and cycling servers.
- Document all activities, notes, resolutions, and create knowledge articles throughout the investigation lifecycle.
- Prioritize work based on issue severity while balancing both client and business needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams across various regions to ensure efficient issue resolution.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to provide timely updates.
- Provide on-call support as needed during different shifts.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of related work experience.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience troubleshooting technical issues.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate efficiently with global teams and clients.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Scripting or Programming Skills (e.g., Shell, Python).
- ITIL or Incident Management Certification.
- Database Management Experience.
- Experience with Cloud Services (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- Version Control Systems (Git, SVN).
Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in application support, client/customer support, incident management, and problem management.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Prior experience with Oracle environments or supporting large-scale applications.
