This includes issuing Capital & Expense Purchase Orders and receiving invoices. This role also interacts with suppliers and contractors to manage the flow of purchase payment instructions and change orders.Your Impact:As Buffer SC Indirect Purchasing Analyst L6 your functions would consist of:Demonstrate an understanding of Purchasing systems and processes.Create capital and other goods and services (OG&S) purchase orders and receive invoices for capital projects.Interact with suppliers and contractors to manage flow of purchase payment instructions and change orders.Maintain and distribute purchase order packages to appropriate field personnel and authorized agents.Resolve purchase order and receipt of goods and services discrepancies.Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of the SAP, Oracle and Ariba purchasing systems.Provide training to new managers on purchasing policies and procedures, as needed.QualificationsWho Are We Looking For?Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering or similar field preferred.Experience:Fluent in English.Procurement process knowledge required.Capital project, construction, accounting, or purchasing experience helpful.Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management.Purchasing systems knowledge (Oracle, Ariba, SAP).Strong organizational skills.Solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products.If this is an opportunity that interests you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
