.**Ordering Supervisor**Responsible for managing the procurement and ordering processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and overseeing the ordering team to maintain optimal stock levels and support business operations.**Position Summary**- Responsible for coordinating the daily ordering activities within the suppliers. This role ensures that all inbound shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. _**Your Role**- _Supervise and lead the ordering team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training. _- _Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and any changes in processes or procedures. _- _Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and high morale. _- _Oversee the entire procurement process, from identifying needs to placing orders and managing supplier relationships. _- _Develop and maintain a network of reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing. _- _Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement and vendor management. _- _Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and avoid overstock or stockouts. _- _Collaborate with the inventory control team to manage stock discrepancies and ensure accurate inventory records. _- _Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track orders and inventory status. _- _Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints. _- _Coordinate with other departments (e.G., sales, production, logistics) to understand and fulfill their procurement needs. _- _Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or delays. _- _Ensure the quality and specifications of ordered goods meet company standards. _- _Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to defective or non-conforming goods. _- _Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations to maintain high standards of quality and reliability. _- _Monitor and control procurement costs to achieve budgetary goals and cost savings. _- _Identify opportunities to optimize procurement processes and reduce expenses. _- _Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions. _- _Prepare and maintain procurement reports, including order status, supplier performance, and cost analysis. _- _Analyze procurement data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement. _- _Provide regular updates to management on procurement performance and any significant issues. _**Your Background**- _Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. _- _Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, with supervisory experience preferred. _- _Strong leadership and team management skills
