As a member of the MMOTA (Multi Module Over-The-Air Software Updates) Automation Test Team, Automation Lab Engineers will focus on ensuring the health of the automation lab that facilitates the automated testing of the SW Updates functionality of the latest automotive, infotainment, and connectivity ECUs (embedded control units).Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.2+ years experience in Object-oriented SW development including unit testing (coursework and/or research allowed).Basic understanding of Linux commands and/or bash/shell scripting, SSH, etc. Basic understanding of Windows commands.Analytical with the ability to root-cause problems creatively and effectively.Preferred Qualifications:Good wired and wireless network troubleshooting skills (familiarity with networking components, protocols/standards, etc.)Experience with defect tracking systems (ie: JIRA), and source code versioning control systems (GitHub).Experience with CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) systems (ie: Jenkins).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ensure health of automated testing stations [DUTs (devices under test), PCs, network, etc.] to guarantee uninterrupted test execution.Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues.Maintain and contribute to the team's solutions (automated test frameworks, test scripts, build systems, and related tools) to address issues, add or enhance functionality, etc.Contribute to team deliverables through involvement in agile scrum development sprints.DISCLAIMER: Ford Motor Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, as we are committed to a diverse workforce, and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, status as a veteran and basis of disability.#J-18808-Ljbffr
