As a member of the MMOTA (Multi Module Over-The-Air Software Updates) Automation Test Team, Automation Lab Engineers will focus on ensuring the health of the automation lab that facilitates the automated testing of the SW Updates functionality of the latest automotive, infotainment, and connectivity ECUs (embedded control units).
Responsibilities Ensure health of automated testing stations [DUTs (devices under test), PCs, network, etc.] to guarantee uninterrupted test execution. Troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline issues. Maintain and contribute to the team's solutions (automated test frameworks, test scripts, build systems, and related tools) to address issues, add or enhance functionality, etc. Contribute to team deliverables through involvement in agile scrum development sprints. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. 4+ year experience in Object-oriented SW development including unit testing. (coursework and/or research allowed). Advanced understanding of Linux commands and/or bash/shell scripting, SSH, etc. Advanced understanding of Windows commands. Analytical with the ability to root-cause problems creatively and effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Good wired and wireless network troubleshooting skills (2+ years of experience with networking components, protocols/standards, etc.) Experience with defect tracking systems (ie: JIRA), and source code versioning control systems (GitHub) Experience with CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) systems (ie: Jenkins).
