Ota Triage Test Engineer

Triage Test Engineers will focus on system level triage, troubleshooting, and defect root cause analysis of embedded systems SW within Product Development.ResponsibilitiesAnalysis of log files to root cause and characterize software defectsUtilization of defect management systems to triage and track defectsCollaboration with development teams to investigate and help resolve software defectsProvide feedback to test teams for creation and/or execution of test casesReport status of triaged resultsContribute to team deliverables through involvement in agile scrum development sprints.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldAbility to understand SW architecture documents.4 Years of experience with analyzing logs and root cause analysis.Fundamental experience with white box SW testingAdvanced knowledge and understanding of Linux and/or QNX, shell scripting, SSH, etc.Experience with defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla, Rally, or equivalent)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivated capabilities are key qualitiesPreferred Qualifications:Proficient in structural and behavioral UML diagramsExperience with Test Case management systems (ie: TestRail), CI/CD pipeline system (ie: Jenkins) and source code versioning control systems (GitHub)Wide experience with modems and/or wireless technologiesExtensive understanding of CAN bus technologies & toolsJob InfoJob Identification: 19581Job Category: PD Operations and QualityPosting Date: 05/20/2024, 09:53 PMDegree Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalentJob Schedule: Full time#J-18808-Ljbffr
