Packaging Engineer

As a Packaging Engineer, you will be responsible for the packaging design, sustaining, development, and implementation for all products, based on Customer RequirementsThrough internal collaboration, you will implement packaging proposal that are integral in product development processes and methods to ensure product arrives to customer free of damage. You are responsible for all finished goods packaging, supplier management, changes and communication with all applicable engineering and procurement functions.**YOU MUST HAVE**:Bachelor's DegreePrevious experience within operations or material rolesBilingual in English is a mustKnowledge on CAD softwares (AutoCAD/Solidworks)Knowledge on design and packaging basicsExperience working with external vendorsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsSAP Experience preferredSolve material related problemsEnsure timely material orderingEngineering Change RequestsEnsure compliance with Garrett Advancing Motion Operating SystemEnsure Health, Safety and Environmental complianceOrganize monthly meeting to monitor inventoryProvide data and analysisEscalate shortages and potential shortages
