The role will also lead teams to review and improve existing packaging designs. The role will work with internal resources and packaging suppliers to achieve functional packaging goals.**Required Education and Experience**:- Post-Secondary Education (Undergraduate Degree) in the one of the following:- Engineering- Manufacturing- Minimum 5 years' experience in packaging / logistics- minimum 3 years program management experience.- Excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail- Strong time management skills- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)- Extensive knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Catia, UG)**Essential Functions**:- Oversee and manage new Program Assigned Pkg. Engineers in the complete packaging development process, including the creation of packaging designs, prototype development, and performance testing.- Troubleshoot new and existing packaging problems involving designs, materials and processes and provide creative, timely, and cost- effective solutions.- Lead and support the analysis of engineering drawings and specification of products to determine physical characteristics of item, special handling, environmental and safety requirements, and types of materials required for packaging.- Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously- Work closely with global suppliers, Program Launch Management, engineering, products management, operations, logistics and sourcing.- Participate in specific program launch teams, to support major program, phase related packaging deliverables
