More than 30,000 organizations already rely on us to verify the identities of people and things, grant access to digital services, analyze vast quantities of information and encrypt data to make the connected world more secure.Packaging EngineerIztapalapa, CDMX (Onsite)Position SummaryThales is looking for a Packaging Engineer who is primarily responsible to plan and direct activities concerned with design and development of protective packaging containers.In this position, you will also be responsible to develop or direct development of sketches, specifications, samples, and written analyses of proposed packaging in order to present design for approval.Key Areas of ResponsibilityCoordinate the entry of new products as well as its proper industrialization and support corresponding to the production floor.Plan and direct activities concerned with design and development of protective packaging containers.Analyse engineering drawings and specifications of product to determine physical characteristics of items, special handling, safety requirements and type of materials required for container.Consult with establishment's purchasing and production departments to determine costs and feasibility of producing proposed packaging.Develop or direct development of sketches, specifications, samples, and written analyses of proposed packaging in order to present design for approval.
