A home for everyone.Visión generalThe Packaging Engineer position will provide creative, technical, and project support in planning, development, coordinating, communicating, and executing new packaging development and improvement projects. The individual will be responsible for development, innovative and cost-effective packaging to address company objectives. In addition, be responsible for the coordination and development of all packaging components and specifications, implementation into production, and support equipment.ResponsabilidadesDesign, document, and evaluate packaging for new product development and existing productsProvide engineering and logistic support for product packaging from concept through production and distributionProvide packaging support role to Senior & R&D StaffWork with corporate packaging engineering as required meeting project deliverables and testing needsDevelop line trial protocols and writes trial reports, SOPs, and specificationsReview supplier print card and component specificationsRequisitosBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent2-4 years in package engineering or equivalentKnowledgeable with ArtiosCAD, CapePack, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Knowledgeable with ISTA, TAPPI, and ASTM test methods for packagingKnowledge of package engineering, shock, vibration, and cushioningProven analytical/problem-solving skills and demonstrated creativityAbility to work with other functions and in teamsStrong communication, interpersonal, and writing skillsAbility to travel up to 5%Ability to lift products/package testing up to 50 poundsEnglish language skills requiredHiring RangeApplicable according to locationEEO StatementDeclaración de Igualdad de Oportunidades de Empleo: AS Maquila México S. de R.L. de C.V. y American Standard B&K México, son empleadores que ofrecen igualdad de oportunidades
