OVERVIEW
The QA coordinator is responsible for leading the quality department and managing quality risks in the painting sectors, so that the product meets the requirements.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Professional career in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical)
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality
3 to 4 years of management experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in painting processes
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Leadership experience
Ability to lead projects, provide status reports and track progress with management teams.
In-depth knowledge of quality tools (basic tools)
Failure analysis experience
Experience in auditing processes and systems.
Written and verbal Spanish
Written and verbal English (90%)
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft and SAP software
PFMEA, DOE, PPAP, GD&T.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
Strong analytical thinking and focused on problem solving.

Travel availability (also international)

Experience in painting processes (Powder & E Coat)
Implementation of Quality Controls Painting Process
Application of Quality Criteria for painted parts (Cosmetics)
Implementation and interpretation of tests/validations on painted product
Measurement (equipment management) of Painted Product characteristics (Gloss, Adhesion, Color, Thickness, Hardness).
ASTM standards referenced for the painted product.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
**Main responsibility of the quality department**:
Continuous improvement of the paint lines (Ecoat, Powder and Skid Plate)
Decision regarding the launch of the product to be delivered.
Define and measure complex problems
Monitor the implementation and execution of the problem resolution process.
Main interface between the end customer (PPQ ream) and the assembly line
Main interface with internal customers to resolve issues on the assembly line.
Responsible for monitoring the corrective actions meeting
Support internal product review or inspection
Support the SQE ream in containment and implementation of corrective actions for external material.
Equipment calibration support and responsible for the execution of the calibration.
Provide technical support to the assembly line
Maintain and coordinate good communication with the quality actor
Communicate and participate with other BRP sites for standardization of good practices.
Part of the approval process for deviation permits and engineering changes
Monitor plant quality performance
Track balance scorecard metrics and establish plan to achieve goals.
Participate in risk assessment identification (PFMEA) and support actions.
Support early development activities with EI and R&D
Provide leadership to quality engineers and technicians
Planning and training of the succession team
Develop team structures to improve department efficiency.
Generate an innovative environment to motivate team members.
Participation in engineering and manufacturing teams in continuous improvement projects.
Performs activities related to workplace safety and organization.
Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for your function in relation to ISO9001:2015.
Comply with the safety rules determined according to your function.
Complete planned training related to Quality and Training on time.
Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
