There will also be an entitlement to the Ascension Island Bank Holidays.Single statusLength of tour 27 monthsSite allowance 5%Tour bonus 10%Compliance requirements - BPSS Security, Medical and DentalThis position is to provide labour support to the Paint Sprayer in delivering the painting works to fuels infrastructure.**Main Duties**- Main duties include preparing materials, mixing of paints/materials and ensuring a smooth continuous supply of product to the paint sprayer.- Experience of working in controlled hazardous areas desirable.- Responsible for the cleanliness of plant, equipment and tools.- Ensure the paint spraying equipment is kept in an operational state.- General house keeping duties such as keeping the site tidy, safe and free of debris/rubbish.- Assist the paint sprayer in his duties as required.- Prepare surfaces for painting as directed.- Participate in other duties as required in support of contract delivery.**What we are looking for**Good standard of education.Will have carried out a similar role and duties in previous employment.Some construction/facilities management or equivalent experience.Health and Safety Knowledge (that includes an understanding of COSHH, manual handling, etc).Full clean Driving Licence.Must be physically fit and used to hard labouring activities.Will be well-organised, a motivated team player who is keen to learn.Has a 'can do' mature attitude, is flexible, reliable and self-motivated.Will have an open approach, pass on knowledge, their experience and show willingness to assist others.Will develop positive, supportive working relationships with team and colleagues.Has ability to work on own with mínimal supervision and will take responsibility for own actions.Will prioritise workload and meet deadlines.Regards personal and plant safety as priority.Capable of recording work accurately on work sheets.Willingness to undertake further training.Willingness and ability to participate in task audits/near miss reporting/plant audits etc.Keenness to pro-actively improve housekeeping.
