As the Latin American Regional Tax Manager, you will:Oversee Tax Compliance:Develop and maintain a comprehensive dashboard to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance for all Latin American countries.Monitor and manage tax filing activities, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value-Added Tax (VAT), Transfer Pricing Documentation (TPD), Country-by-Country Reporting (CBCR), and other relevant taxes.Review and approve tax-related activities, such as tax asset assessments and special tax resolutions.Stay Updated on Tax Policy:Conduct in-depth research and analysis of global and regional tax policies, trends, and regulations.Prepare monthly tax policy insight reports and contribute to the development of annual Latin American tax summit reports.Provide Tax Expertise and Support:Offer professional guidance and support to local teams on tax compliance matters, tax law interpretation, and interactions with tax authorities.Collaborate with HQ to gather the latest tax policy information and disseminate it to local teams.Manage the collection and reporting of tax-related tasks from local teams to HQ.Build Tax Capability Center:Develop and implement training plans to enhance the tax capabilities of the Latin American team.Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the region.Minimum Qualifications:Deep Tax Knowledge:Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Latin American countries, including Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, and others.Strong understanding of global tax principles and trends, with a particular focus on international tax matters such as Transfer Pricing and OECD guidelines.Strong Communication and Execution Skills:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with tax authorities, HQ, and local teams.Proven ability to execute tasks efficiently and proactively, ensuring timely completion of all tax-related activities.Teamwork and Adaptability:Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with regional and local teams to achieve shared tax objectives.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tax regulations, technologies, and processes.Preferred Qualifications:Fluency in both English and Spanish.Proficiency in Chinese is a plus.Huawei offers a competitive benefits package, a dynamic work environment, and the opportunity to contribute to a global technology leader.How to ApplyInterested candidates with a CV in English should submit their application to ****** Opportunity EmployerHuawei is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
