Live in Puerto Vallarta or close to the area.- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.- Strong English communication skills with a clear and professional speaking tone requiredIdeally, I'd be looking for 1 of the following background profile:- Previously worked in/with a US-based bankruptcy law firm as a legal assistant or paralegal- Paralegal in Mexico, with familiarity working in a fast-pace, high volume environment- Attorney in Mexico, with familiarity working in a fast-pace, high volume environment**Detailed Duties and Responsibilities**:- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings.- Conduct legal research and compile information.- Draft and review legal documents and correspondence.- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information.- Manage court filings and ensure compliance with filing requirements.- Attend team meetings and provide updates on case status.
