Duties:Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and pleadings.Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.Organize and maintain legal files and documents electronically.Prepare and proofread legal correspondence and reports.Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings.Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.Perform data entry tasks to update case information in document management systems.File and retrieve documents from electronic filing systems.Transcribe dictations and prepare accurate transcripts.Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed.Skills:Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent attention to detail for proofreading legal documents.Proficient in using document management systems and other legal software.Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and court filing requirements.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Proficient in using Google Docs, Sheets, etc.Familiarity with clerical duties.Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties or skills required for the position of Paralegal.
