Parent Seed Plant Supervisor

**Description**:
Will be responsible for the Parent Seed availability for planting or for being exported; by assuring inventory control, quality of the inventory, government certification and an appropriate production program. Will have the responsibility of supervising the operations of the Parent Seed Plant and Warehouse.

**Activities**
- Create an annual Plan of Carry Over testing.
- Maintain SAP Inventory Storage Locations according to Quality Status and create follow up reports for the SPSC team.
- Create a production program to fulfill the exportation needs and the local production planting plan.
- Follow up of the imported material, reviewing the quality.
- Prepare documents and seed for the export process.
- Interact with the government agencies for certifying seed.
- Create production plan for shelling, condition and color sorting. Creating PO for parent seed and tracking consumption of treatment.
- Assure supplies availability for achieving the production plan.
- Supervise the operation of the Parent Seed Plant and assure training of the staff in the area.
- Follow up of preventive and corrective maintenance of the Parent Seed Plant equipment.
- Assure compliance to safety standards in the area and lead standards applicable to the Culiacán Plant.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor´s degree.
- Knowledge of seed plant processing.
- Leadership skills.
- Being able to interact with different areas and people outside the company.
- Knowledge of SAP desirable.
- English desirable.
