Join over 3 million users that trust Benchmark Gensuite with their software system needs and benefit from rapid deployment and adoption, immediate return on investment (ROI), service excellence, and collaborative innovation.Responsibilities:Maintain proactive email communications with customers who have pending responses to sales tax inquiries.Provide daily summaries/reports detailing completed tasks and communications.Conduct end-of-week reviews to assess completion status and discuss priorities for the following week.Calculate actual sales & use tax amounts utilizing internal processes.Compile calculated taxes into an organized Excel spreadsheet for tracking purposes.Support Sales Tax Reconciliation by State.Support Sales Tax filing by State.US Payroll Reporting Tax:Validate correct business names and addresses are on file by following up with various US tax entities.Coordinate opening of new payroll tax accounts as needed (State Income, State Unemployment, Municipal, School, etc.).Document Organization:Assist in uploading and categorizing vendor/partner agreements and contracts within our system.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.Proven experience in sales tax calculation or similar role is highly desirable.Proficiency in using Avalara or similar sales tax software is a plus.Experience in using NetSuite software is a plus.Strong competency with Microsoft Excel and data management tools.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
