The Mexican Partner Communications Marcom team is responsible for all marketing communications and customer experiences across Apple's indirect channels in Mexico. We formulate extraordinary omni-channel strategies that provide customers thoughtful, engaging, and integrated experiences; experiences that meet Apple's brand and creative standards of excellence.
DescriptionAs we grow our business in Mexico, we are seeking an outstanding individual who can operate successfully in our exciting fast-paced environment and lead our local Partner Communications team. Key responsibilities include:
Lead the team responsible for driving ambition for Apple's presence in the channel environments, making recommendations on closing skill gaps to drive integrated partner marketing plans, and represent groups on the Mexican Leadership Team.Ensure alignment internally with Worldwide (WW) Partner Communications Management functions and Sales, and externally with partners.Define clear annual sales and marketing plans for key partners by working closely with key sales account managers to ensure better integrated communications to support initiatives and the overall country strategy.Synthesize annual partner plans at the local level, identifying key opportunities to feed the Marketing planning review process and drive innovation.Primary contact within Marcom responsible for understanding and sharing insights from the entire market as it pertains to key business partners across a variety of routes to market.Close partnership with WW and Geo Partner Communications leads to ensure ongoing alignment of platforms and content across all routes to markets.Develop excellent productive working relationships with all internal and external partners.Minimum Qualifications12+ years of meaningful experience in a marketing/advertising agency or in-house marketing communications organization in a fast-paced growing brand.Proficient in English and Spanish.Preferred QualificationsGood understanding of digital platforms, providing guidance on consumer journeys to drive platform engagements and content innovations.Deep understanding of offline retail environments across different cities and types of routes to markets; ability to drive strategic points of view for the market.Self-motivated, flexible individual with very strong communication skills.Capable of seeing the bigger picture and orchestrating projects to the end.Proven leader with the ability to build and manage effective teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.Extensive experience in brand communications (ATL and BTL) and an understanding of full spectrum communications.Strong strategic problem solver, capable of influencing senior partners, both internally and externally.Capable of decoding creative work quickly to provide real-time feedback on partners' ideas and creative concepts.Experienced in partnering and building positive relationships with creative teams.Proven flexibility/adaptability to change in a multifaceted environment and working as a teammate.Strong attention to detail and results orientation.Experience working with third parties, to influence, inform and guide their creative efforts.Experience in direct or indirect retail channel.Knowledge of channel marketing subject areas, including visual merchandising, retail marketing/campaigns, POS, and customer-engagement programs.
