**General Description**:Responsible for buy material based on demand using the ERP/ MRP and looking to avoid manual process where is possible to manage the demand. Sending the firm and forecast to the suppliers, assure the communication with supplier by EDI is working properly.Manage and review material availability for production based on forecast and production program.Work closely with suppliers to ensure material on time / Use ERP system to schedule deliveries.Manage and expedite purchase orders needed to fulfill build schedule for on-time delivery.Closely follow up with suppliers to assure materials, production, and on time deliveries. Be able to create a delivery plan with critical commodities.Work closely with cross-functional teams ensuring suppliers improvements, logistics, inventory level, specifications, on time deliveries, etc.**1.
