Our people are what drive the business forward.We are currently looking for a Parts Supply Manager to join our team in Nissan Aftersales.**Job Summary**:This role will be responsible for managing a team within the SCM Parts Supply department supporting NNA Aftersales. This may include working with our supplier partners such as North American sourced suppliers and Nissan affiliates, as well as providing critical feedback to Nissan export customers. As a key member of the Parts Supply leadership team, you will be responsible for collaborating with various functions at Nissan Americas and affiliates to ensure part availability for our customers. Departments include PDC Operations, Logistics, APO, Manufacturing, Engineering, Parts Pricing, Field Quality, PPE, Sales & Marketing, etc. Driving continuous improvement activities within the organization as well as assisting team members with problematic suppliers to ensure compliance with Nissan policies and procedures.**Job functions include but are not limited to**:Manages team members who are directly involved in the procurement and inventory control responsibilities of service and accessory parts from suppliers throughout the world as well as supporting export marketsIdentifies constraints within the supplier process which negatively impact the on-time shipment of service parts requirements; works with the supplierand related Nissan departments to identify and implement continuous improvement plansCollaborates with NNA leadership in problem solving, process improvements, and other areas of opportunity to make Nissan more successful as well as strengthening the overall health of the supplierWorks cross-functionally to support department and Aftersales objectives which includes participation in DECIDE projects, V-Up discussion, and possibly CFT'sWorks with department leadership to set objectives and KPIs to ensure efficient and cost effective use of resources and servicesParticipates in annual budget planning process, including assisting in setting priorities for projects based on NNA priorities and available fundingProvides high-level oversight for department projects to ensure they stay on track with the original intent of the defined initiativesSupervises and provides leadership, coaching, guidance, training and staff development for NiHub team members; interviews and selects unit employees; plans and evaluates employee performance; recommends merit increases, transfers and promotions; counsels and disciplines employees as necessary; recommends termination when appropriate; and monitors time and attendance of subordinates
