Find your place in digital product on #TeamAmex.**How will you make an impact in this role?**The Payments Consultant Manager act as the GMS Client Managers' single point of contact for all payments solutions requests from our Merchants. Payments solutions require Payments Consultants to be able to provide support in all stages of the life cycle of a payment transaction (authorization, submission and payments reconciliation).American Express depends on the Payments Consulting team to enable Card acceptance, identify, and implement payment solutions (products and services) in customer-facing situations. Relationship building, communication, and problem-solving skills are important for success for these teams' roles. The PCG Manager is the liaison between the PCG team and Client Managers, our Merchants, Payments Facilitators, Acquiring Partners, and American Express technical areas that support the certification processes as well as production and operations.The PCG Manager must also maintain deep and current knowledge about the payments services industry, market trends, new and existing technologies, products and services, and the structure of American Express and customer organizations.This role requires an experienced and persuasive employee with experience in people management, thought leadership, analytical skills and a track record of complex problem solving, and flawless project execution
