Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Payroll Accountant is a key member of the financial team in the organization responsible for a combination of financial functions ensuring legal reporting compliance and other accounting duties and functions across several divisions of the corporation.

This position will perform payroll and accounting duties and functions across several divisions. Primary duties will include:

- Timely and accurate reconciliation, filing and payment of IMSS, INFONAVIT and State taxes.
- Timely submission of IDSE notices, including variable salaries.
- Timely attention and resolving of IMSS/INFONAVIT notices.
- Coordinate annual IMSS/INFONAVIT audits.
- Preparation of accurate payroll calculations, including Christmas bonus and Profit Sharing.
- Coordinate payment of Profit Sharing to active/inactive employees.
- Timely and accurate attention to financial auditors' payroll requirements.
- Annual calculation of IMSS risk premium.
- Maintenance to TRESS system (users, shifts, periods, minimum wages, withholding tax rates, etc)
- Coordinate the FONACOT payments and present all the information of non-payments.
- Timely and accurate reconciliation of multiple accounts.
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly payroll and accounting reports.
- Preparation of tax filings of different sorts.
- Reviewing accounting problems; reviewing, analyzing and correcting information.
- Coordinate request of new employee's bank accounts.
- Management of saving fund.
- Other payroll/accounting activities as may be assigned.

Experiência y requisitos

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 3-5 years of Payroll/Payroll Taxes experience in a high volume Maquiladora.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field.
- Experience with TRESS payroll system.
- Experience with reconciliation activities.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- A high level of accuracy is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Certain level oral and written communication skills in English.

- Experience working with multiple locations
